Summary
The software ‘Thermo-Calc’ is widely used in the SP2 group in order to develop thermodynamic computations. A library has been structured and stabilized to gather all the numerical tools developed by our members. In this way, this library named ‘PhysalurgY’ (PY) embeds all our recent developments proposed by trainees, PhD students, post-doctoral researchers … dedicated to the simulation of materials evolution and coupled with thermodynamic equilibrium computations. PY provides an original, optimized and updated framework facilitating the developments with an easy-to-use and dynamic interface. These simulations are currently dedicated to the research in industrial processes but also upstream studies.
